HPCC

The High Performance Computing and Business Incubation Centre is set up by the School of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham, in partnership with AWM Innovation team, to provide affordable access to high-performance computing facilities to SMEs and start up companies in the West Midlands.


Itanium 2 Cluster

This 24 process Madison Itanium 2 cluster, the first of its kind in the UK, provides a high-speed low latency cluster environment.


Hyper Spectral Imaging

Hyper-spectral imaging is a non-invasive diagnostic technique capable of providing information about structure and composition of sub-surfaces of lamin ar materials, both biological and non-organic, in various contexts.


B21 Robot

Robots are increasingly common in high-end applications such as space and ocean exploration. However, there is now an opportunity to bring robotics into the office and the home. The B21 robot provides a research robotics platform.
